About Sangeet Ashram
Sangeet Ashram is a registered non-profit organisation based in Kolkata. It was founded in 2002 by a group of prominent individuals such as the late Jagdish Sapru, Shri Suresh Neotia and Pandit Vijay Kichlu, amongst others.Since its inception the Governor of West Bengal has been the Chief Patron.

The prime objective of Sangeet Ashram is to increase the appreciation of Hindustani classical music, improve levels of 'listenership' and promote worthy musicians.
Over the years Sangeet Ashram has developed a reputation of presenting music programmes which are not only of the highest quality but also educate and inform the audience about the lesser known aspects of Indian classical music.
